Public transport from Vienna Airport to Hotel Papageno:
S-Bahn every 30 minutes or Public bus every 20 minutes - go, both, to
Wien Mitte, then: either taxi direct to Hotel Papageno - or Subway, U4 /
dir.Hütteldorf: 2 stops to Karlsplatz, change there to line U1/dir.Reumannplatz
and go 1 stop to Taubstummengasse, walk downtown, turn into 2nd lane,
left, to Mozartgasse, cross Mozartplatz to Wiedner Hauptstrasse, turn
right and after 30 m you are in front of Hotel Papageno (approx. 3
minutes walk).
Shuttle Bus (Mazur, in the arrival hall), direct to Hotel Papageno.
Taxi from Vienna Airport to Hotel Papageno (25 to 30 min).
From the West Railway station to Hotel Papageno:
Underground U3 in the direction of Erdberg - 5 stops to Stephansplatz -
change for the U1/direction Reumannplatz - 2 stops to Taubstummengasse -
towards the centre - 2nd street on the left, Mozartgasse - cross the
Mozartplatz to the Wiedner Hauptstrasse - turn right and after 30 m you
are in front of the Hotel Papageno (approx. 3 minutes walk).
From the South Railway station to Hotel Papageno:
Bus service 13A to Wiedner Hauptstrasse. Any tram line in the direction
of the inner city - 2 stops to Paulanergasse - after 30 m you are in
front of the Hotel Papageno. |
Directions Vienna-West
Directions from the West Motorway to the Hotel Papageno: drive in the
direction of the centre - past Schönbrunn Palace, then after 400 m
choose the left lane; Schönbrunnerstrasse - across the Gürtel - continue
on the Schönbrunnerstrasse in the direction of the centre - Rechte
Wienzeile - on your left is the Naschmarkt (large fruit and vegetable
market) - continue to the traffic lights on the crossing with the
Schleifmühlgasse -turn right here - straight ahead - across the next set
of traffic lights to the end of the street - turn right in front of the
Paulaner Church into the Wiedner Hauptstrasse - across the traffic
lights. The Hotel Papageno is situated on the other side of the road. |

Directions Vienna - South
Directions from the South Motorway to the Hotel Papageno: drive in the
direction of the centre down the Triester Strasse until you reach
Matzleinsdorfer Platz. After driving underneath the railway line, turn
right into the Wiedner Hauptstrasse. After approx. 1000 m you are
directly in front of the Hotel Papageno. |
